Four Hambergites

Hambergite is a beryllium borate mineral named after Swedish explorer and mineralogist Axel Hamberg (1863–1933). The mineral occurs as white or colorless orthorhombic crystals. The present offering is a suite of four assorted hambergites: the first, faceted as an emerald-cut, weighing approximately 3.27 carats and measuring 15.0 x 7.0 x 4.0mm; a triangular-shaped hambergite, weighing 4.58 carats; a cushion-shaped hambergite, weighing 0.46 carats; and an oval-cut hambergite, weighing 0.52 carats. Total weight approximately 8.84 carats. (4)
