Two Jeremejevites

Named after Russian mineralogist Pavel Vladimirovich Eremeev (Jeremejev in German) (1830–1899) this rare mineral was first described in 1883 upon its discovery in the Mt. Soktui, Nerschinsk district, Adun-Chilon Mountains, Siberia. The present offering is a yellow jeremejevite, a fancy-cut, weighing approximately 2.09 carats and measuring 8.50 x 6.00 x 5.00mm; and a pale yellow baguette-cut jeremejevite, weighing approximately 0.94 carats and measuring 11.4 x 3.3 x 2.5mm.
