US$380,000 - US$500,000
Accompanied by a Gem Research Swiss Lab (GRS) report number GRS2022-070015 dated July 18, 2022 titled Portrait of One Magnificent 24.21 carats Tanzanian Spinel stating that the 24.21 carats vivid red spinel originates from Tanzania and that it shows no indications of thermal treatment.
Additionally it states that the GRS Laboratories examined a 24.21 natural spinel, described in report number GRS2022-070015, that demonstrates excellent characteristics worth of a dedicated mention. This magnificent spinel is distinguished by a very rare combination of being above 24 carats, a fine vivid red volor variety, good brilliancy and transparency, and well-balanced proportions. This spinel could be traced to an exclusive mining location in Mahenge (Tanzania) that produced some of the largest and most appreciated spinels in the world. This isolated finding is nearly exhausted and each of the unique gem-quality specimens is highly sourced by collectors. At the time of testing, it was concluded that the gemstone was spared of thermal enhancement.
The combination of excellent attributes that this spinel displays was concluded to be magnificent. The vivid red color radiates harmoniously in tone and color saturation. A high degree of lapidary craftsmanship adds value to the nature of this gemstone.
Spinels of this size and high quality are very rare.
