40th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, 1940-1980. Bath: The Military Gallery, 1980. 4to, folder style album, comprising an introduction signed by Douglas Bader, 28 biographies of the most celebrated living pilots of the Battle of Britain, each signed by the subject, one loosely inserted, with a special certificate from the Trustees of the Douglas Bader Association thanking a Mr Thrusell for his generous gift. Modern blue morocco, gilt, with central gilt arms of the RAF.

Printed in an edition of 2000 copies, this volume includes printed biographies of Johnnie Johnson, Alan Deere, Alan Tuck, Pete Townsend, Hugh Dundas, and Denys Gillam amongst others, with each SIGNED by the subject.

Payment Notices
