The thirty-two-plate russet-iron bowl in a graceful heichozan profile, the base of each plate fitted with igaki, the top with a three-stage copper tehen kanamono, the front central plate in katajiro style and decorated in black and silver lacquer with a floret flourish, the mabizashi with prominent vertical file marks, the interior signed Saotome Ietada
