Auguste à Paris
The case with turned brass handle and four ball finials over canted corners and a plinth base on button feet, the signed white enamel Roman dial with blued steel moon hands within a gilt sight ring, the spring driven movement with cut and compensated bimetallic balance mounted on a raised bridge cock over a lever escapement, with outside countwheel strike on a bell 17cms (6.75ins) high.
