When it comes to collecting vintage watches, everything comes down to the minute details. From the scarcity of the watch, the condition of the dial and the bracelet, they are all part of the checklist when evaluating a vintage watch. The present lot checks off all the essential factors, the highly realistic enamel portrait of the King of Saudi Arabia, and the 18k pink gold Gay Frères bracelet.

Gay Frères was founded in 1835 and originally manufactured jewelry and chains for pocket watches. In the beginning of the 20th century they gained Rolex as a new client, and they quickly gained recognition for their high-quality bracelets. From the 1940s, Gay Frères supplied to virtually all the major watch brands, including Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. They are undoubtedly the most famous bracelet marker and treasured by watchmakers for their expertise in manufacturing high quality and unique bracelets.

This timepiece possesses a rich remarkable history, high quality enamel dial and a Gay Frères bracelet, this is an opportunity not to be missed by collectors of rare and important vintage timepieces.
