Alexandre de Lamberterie
Alexandre de Lamberterie is Specialist for Watches at Bonhams in Paris. Working across France and Europe, he provides valuations and gathers consignments for upcoming sales.
Alexandre's areas of expertise include modern and vintage watches, sports watches and classic timepieces, while his passion spans the length and breadth of watch types and brands - from tool watches, diver's watches and military watches to Rolex, Patek Phillipe and Cartier, and much more. He has brought to auction exceptional timepieces including Pablo Picasso's wristwatch (€219,050), a Cartier Tank Basculante (€17,187) and a Patek Philippe Nautilus (€52,812).
Before joining Bonhams, Alexandre worked for 13 years for TAG Heuer and the LVMH Group. Starting as a trainee, he became a key account manager before working with a highly respected watch expert, who he credits with teaching him all he now knows about vintage watches.
